Our story

James started serving Austin in 2014 with the goal of becoming the area’s leader for dryer vent cleaning, repair & installation. David and Jordan came on board as partners in 2020 as they began to expand the services offered by BSC.

Today we offer several services with the same quality of customer service, workmanship, and work culture that James began with. Even though we started with dryer vent clean, repair, and installation in Austin, TX, we are becoming a leader in comfort. Comfort means having air conditioning systems that heat and cool with efficiency.

High Efficiency is on our primary areas of focus. Using equipment that is high efficiency like all electric heat pumps and low energy using dehumidifiers is important to us. We want to leave this world a better place for our children so contributing to the de-carbonization of our planet matters to us.

We actually support the passive house movement which is a form of home building in which minimal or no air conditioning system is required at all. We hope to build our own homes one day with this reborn methodology. The ancient Greek and Roman designers/builders utilized proper building science to keep cool even without electricity…

Austin and surrounding areas in Texas are slowly becoming a tropical climates due to all of the warming especially the very equipment we use to cool our living spaces. The irony, we’re heating our planet as we attempt to cool ourselves. We at BSC want to be a part of the solution not a company that adds to the problem. We believe you can be comfortable and do it without causing more challenges for future generations to come.
